Our Path to the Eco-label

The Europahaus Klagenfurt is currently working on obtaining accreditation with the Austrian Eco-label for Educational Institutions. With this step, we aim to organize our activities and events in a more environmentally friendly way in the future and to firmly anchor sustainability as an integral part of our educational work.

We ask ourselves questions such as:
How can we plan events more sustainably in the future? Which materials should we procure? How can we design buffets in a resource-efficient way? And how can we motivate our guests to travel in an environmentally friendly manner?

All these considerations are currently being incorporated into the preparation of our application. Our goal is not only to obtain the Eco-label, but to live the principles behind it in the daily operations of Europahaus in the long term.
